Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Adapt to China may receive, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Who operates this site
Adapt to China is currently operated by Martin Zhong in Shanghai. Business registration is in progress. The registered operator name and registration details will be published here after completion.
Contact: adapttochina@163.com · WeChat: martinzhong26.
2. Information the site may receive
- Community submissions: the topic and text you submit to the Heads-up Board.
- Enquiries: information you voluntarily send by email or WeChat.
- Pilot service records: the written scope, timing, payment status and minimum information needed to provide an accepted daily-life Q&A pass or routine phone-call task.
- Technical analytics: limited website-usage and device information processed through Cloudflare Web Analytics.
3. Sensitive information: please do not send it unless specifically necessary
Do not send passwords, PINs, SMS verification codes, full bank-card details, account login information, unnecessary passport copies, signatures or other people’s personal data. The public board form must never be used for medical, financial, immigration, legal or other sensitive information.
Hospital accompaniment is not currently available. Do not send medical records, diagnosis information, insurance files or passport copies for that service.
4. Why information is used
Information is used only to respond to enquiries, review community submissions, provide an accepted pilot service, maintain records needed for refunds or dispute handling, protect the site from abuse, and understand general website use.
5. Service providers and communication channels
The site uses Cloudflare for hosting and analytics and FormSubmit to deliver board submissions by email. Enquiries may also be handled through WeChat and email. These providers operate their own infrastructure and privacy terms, and data may be processed in locations outside your current country or region. Do not use these channels for information that is not necessary for the stated purpose.
6. Publication of board submissions
Board submissions may be edited for length, clarity, safety and privacy. They are published without the contributor’s name, but complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed because the form provider may process technical metadata. Submission does not guarantee publication. You may request removal by email.
7. Retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, recordkeeping, safety or legal obligations. Unpublished board submissions and ordinary enquiries are normally deleted when no longer needed. Pilot service records may be retained for up to 12 months after completion unless a longer period is required for an unresolved dispute, tax record or legal obligation.
8. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you provided, withdraw consent for future processing, or request removal of a published board note. Send the request from the same contact channel where possible so it can be verified.
9. Children
Paid pilot services are intended for adults. A person under 18 should ask a parent, guardian, school or other responsible adult to contact Adapt to China.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated as the project, service providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
