Website and Service Terms
These terms explain the limits of the free information and the current pilot support services.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Free website information
The guides, directory and community board provide general practical orientation. They are not medical, legal, immigration, tax, employment, financial, insurance, investment or other professional advice. They do not create a professional-client relationship.
Apps, fees, addresses, opening hours, policies and local procedures can change. Important decisions must be confirmed with the responsible authority, provider, hospital, insurer, landlord, employer, school or qualified professional.
2. Community content and external links
Community notes reflect individual experiences and are not independently verified. External links are provided for convenience; Adapt to China does not control third-party content, availability, security or services.
3. A service is accepted only in writing
An enquiry, message or unrequested transfer does not create a booking. A pilot service begins only after the scope, price, timing, included work, limits and these terms are confirmed in writing and you agree.
4. Seven-day daily-life Q&A pass
- Price: ¥149 for 7 consecutive days, with up to 10 in-scope questions per day.
- Scope: practical everyday orientation, such as apps, transport, deliveries, shopping, common non-sensitive messages and general procedures.
- Response target: within 24 hours during 10:00–22:00 China time. This is not an emergency service or guaranteed instant response.
- Excluded: professional advice, document or contract review, clinical advice, symptom-based decisions, medical-result interpretation, insurance coverage or claims decisions, legal or immigration status, identity verification, account access, payments, passwords, representation, disputes and binding decisions.
- If Adapt to China cannot continue the accepted service, the pass will be extended or unused full days refunded. Refund rights required by applicable law are not limited by these terms.
5. Routine Chinese phone-call task
- Price: ¥30 for one confirmed routine call task of up to 15 minutes.
- The service relays a simple factual request or asks routine questions to a public business number and provides a written summary.
- You remain responsible for all decisions, bookings, purchases, cancellations and commitments.
- Not accepted: identity verification, impersonation, banks or payments, account recovery, government or visa matters, medical or insurance decisions, legal disputes, contract negotiation, emergencies, covert recording, or any commitment made on your behalf.
- If the organisation requires you personally, the call stops and you will be told what is needed.
6. Cancellation and refunds
The written confirmation before payment will state the start time, cancellation point and any service-specific refund arrangement. No fee is due for a request that is declined before acceptance. Any rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
7. Hospital accompaniment
This service is coming soon and is not available. There is no current price, booking, payment, waiting list or medical-document intake. Any future service will require separate terms and safeguards.
8. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate, lawful and necessary information; keep passwords and verification codes private; redact unrelated personal data; obtain permission before sharing another person’s information; and do not ask Adapt to China to impersonate you or perform an unlawful act.
9. Privacy
Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Use the minimum information necessary. Do not send sensitive information through the public board form.
10. Availability and refusal
Pilot services depend on time, complexity and scope. A request may be declined or stopped when it creates safety, legal, privacy, professional or identity-verification concerns. Any unearned amount will be returned.
11. Liability and statutory rights
Adapt to China will use reasonable care in accepted pilot work, but cannot guarantee the accuracy or outcome of third-party information, translations, calls, bookings, apps, providers or official decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Complaints and contact
Raise a concern promptly by emailing adapttochina@163.com with the date, service and requested resolution. The parties should first try to resolve the matter through clear written communication.
13. Operator details
Current operator: Martin Zhong, Shanghai, China. Business registration is in progress. The registered business name, unified social credit code and any legally required public information will be added after registration.
